Follow these easy steps to place an order online with Credit Card.  We stand ready to help weekdays from 8:00AM until 5:00PM (Pacific) and Fridays until 4:00PM if you encounter any problems, please refer to our FAQ for information after hours.

  1. Find the Item You Want
    • Enter our storefront; through the Order Now, Quick Links, Rapid Order or Sign In/Create an Account.
    • From the storefront page, choose the type of Tap for your Extension – Machine or Pipe.  Also shop our “Machined in America™”Apparel section!
  2. Add the Item to Your Shopping Cart
    • From the Item detail grid, find the Tap size for the Extension
    • Make sure Columns B and C are an exact match to the Machine or Pipe Tap you are using.
    • Find the desired length and Click ADD to place in to the shopping cart.
      If you make a change, be sure to apply changes before you proceed
    • Continue to Shop or Checkout.
  3. Proceed to Checkout
    • Click the Cart Icon or Text Link in the Quick links side bar to Checkout.
    • Sign In as a Guest or Create a New Account
    • Enter a Billing Address [Tip: must match cardholder information]
    • Enter a Shipping Address
    • Choose (collect or prepay) Shipping Method (We ship UPS and offer drop off services for FedEx and USPS)
    • Provide Payment Information
    • Review and Submit Your Order
    • Proceed to Checkout
  4. Print Your Receipt/Invoice
  5. Email confirmations will be sent to the email you registered with.

How do I place an order using my mobile device?

Shopping from a mobile device or smart phone is just like shopping on tapextension.com from your computer– our site is designed to adjust to most mobile devices and smart phones.

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Type http://tapextension.com into the address or URL field. We’ll automatically recognize you’re shopping from a mobile device and present you with a complete view of tapextension.com!
  3. Get information, video demos or shop for the Extension you want.

Are there other methods to place an order?

We offer the following convenient methods to purchase from us:

  1. DISTRIBUTOR: Authorized Distributors can drop ship if out of stock or establish an account with us same-day.
    OR, we will be glad to refer you to an Authorized Distributor near you.
  2. From your MOBILE Device: With any major credit, corporate and government cards;
  3. FAX to 209-742-4551 24 hours a day with credit card;
  4. Toll free by PHONE with credit card – 1-800-LONGTAP (566-4827) weekdays 8:00AM to 5:00PM (Pacific).

What payment options do you accept?

  • Any Authorized Distributor Purchase Order
  • Credit Card: Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, Corporate and Government Purchase Cards.

How long to process my order?

We process and confirm shipment for all in stock items same business day.

Do I have to pay sales tax on my order?

  • Sales tax is applicable on any orders that are shipped within California. Please note that according to California law sales tax must be calculated using the total amount of your merchandise plus any fees other than shipping.

When will my credit card be charged?

  • Our gateway processes your purchase and your card will be charged when the order is placed.

Can I cancel or return my order?

  • Standard items stocked by Tap Associates, Inc. can be canceled before shipment without addition costs. Non Standard, Special Order and Non Stocked items cannot be canceled. Cancel your order prior to 2:00PM (Pacific) weekdays. Exchange or Return un-opened parts within 30-days from date of purchase.

What is my order number?

  • Your order number will be present on all documentation. Typically this number is located top right corner of the Sales Order receipt next to the date.

What happens if an item is on back-order?

  • We guarantee one (1) to five (5) pieces for all parts listed online are in stock unless otherwise noted. We recommend that you call and check availability for orders exceeding ten (10) pieces of the same item number. Back ordered items will ship within 24 hours of product receipt.

Shipping & Delivery Information

  • Orders are processed to ship via UPS Ground same-day Monday through Friday before 3:00PM (Pacific).
  • Expedited orders (3 day select, 2nd day and Next Day Air) will ship the same day Monday through Friday before 3:00pm (Pacific)
  • Drop-off service request for FedEx collect before 1:30PM (Pacific)
  • Tap Associates, Inc. offers collect UPS service.  A service fee of $3.95 is added to shipping charges for Net30 Prepay UPS and/or request for Collect FedEx and USPS drop-off service.
  • All products shall be shipped and delivered FOB Tap Associates, Inc. (Mariposa, CA). Tap Associates, Inc. will pre-pay freight (and charge buyer) for orders. Registered users may request ‘freight collect’ and provide us at time of checkout with your UPS account number.  Tap Associates, Inc. assumes no liability for damage, loss or delay when shipped ‘freight collect’.
  • Shipping costs are determined by the shipment weight, origin zip code (95338) and destination zip code.  Orders may arrive in more than one package and/or on different dates. Depending on the type, quantity and weight of items in your order, we may pack and ship them in different packages to ensure they arrive on time and undamaged. Tap Associates, Inc. reserves the right to make partial shipments unless clearly specified by the Buyer. All items in a single order must be shipped to a single address. Tap Associates, Inc. does not ship to PO Box addresses.
  • Tap Associates, Inc. will not drop ship items purchased by credit card. Items will be shipped to the Buyer’s billing address only.  Tap Associates, Inc. will provide shipping confirmation and/or tracking number with each sales order to the email address provided with the registration.

Warranty

  • No hassle 30-day return or exchange from order date.
  • Tap Associates, Inc. warrants that the goods purchased are free from defects in workmanship or material.  Tap Associates, Inc. shall credit buyer for goods which are defective in material or workmanship the purchase prices (at Tap Associates, Inc. option) if such goods are returned to Tap Associates, Inc. for examination. Tap Associates, Inc. does not guarantee any of its goods against wear, age and/or abuse.
