PLEASE NOTE: TAP size columns B and C must be exact to seat the Extension (only the drift can dislodge the Extension from the TAP).

NEW ITEM: Starting with our Machine Tapping-series 101 Jüngere Self-Locking Tap Extension line, we are adding a 12” Extension lengths (in stock now is shaded). The 12” length will be added gradually with each production run until all lines include the 12” length. Please place a back-order for priority service until all lines are stocked with 12”. Match the Standard Tap dimensions with our Extension Size Charts
Inspect Tap Integrity
The tolerance and dimensions of the Self-Locking design must match the Tap exactly. Any Tap imperfections such as shank twist, rounded tap corners or over use may require elective adjustment to seat properly.
Seat the Tap Firmly
- Important: Standard Tap and Extension dimensions must match exactly for best results.
- Line up the Tap square corners with the Extension inner marks. Tap the square of the Extension with lead hammer or block to seat the Tap firmly.
- Square of Tap should be visible in the slot window.
- To dislodge Tap from Extension insert thin drift and tap with hammer.
- Use in All Hand and Machine Applications.
